1. Switch selection: for more than 5 points (including more than 5 points of 720p), please use the full gigabit network switch;

2. Backup shall be made. Before construction, the IP addresses of all network ball machines, network cameras, NVRs, computer main control computers, storage servers, streaming media servers, HD decoders, management servers, etc. in the system shall be uniformly modified and registered. Attention must be paid to avoid IP address conflicts with the original equipment in the local network (such as computers and network printers);

3. Do a good job of registration. Please do not set all the equipment (including the original equipment) in the network system to the mode of automatically obtaining IP address. Set the IP address manually and register it in the registration form;

4. Pay attention to IP conflicts. If there is a wireless router in the network system, please pay attention to whether the IP addresses of mobile phones and tablets connected to the wireless network system conflict;

5. Pay attention to the selection of convergence layer switches. The number of IPC connected to a single front-end switch shall not exceed 4, and 8-port 100m switches can be used. If there are more than 4, 8-port full Gigabit switches must be used, because only one network cable is used between the front-end switch and the main switch in the machine room. If there are too many IPC loads, packet loss, frame loss, delay and jamming are likely to occur;

6. Pay attention to the selection of network cable. The national standard super class 5 network cable can be used between IPC and the front-end switch, and the national standard class 6 network cable and class 6 crystal head must be used between the front-end switch and the main switch in the machine room;

7. The monitoring project shall pay attention to the distance between the camera and the main control room. The network switch can only be used to relay between the HD network ball machine, HD IPC and the main switch of the machine room once; If the distance is more than 100m, optical fiber can be used. For receiving and transmitting, please use one optical one electric or one optical two electric or one optical four electric flexible optical fiber transceiver.

8. Pay attention to the selection of wire. If the international super class 5 shielded network cable is used from the network ball machine and network camera to the front-end switch, the wire length is recommended not to exceed 80m. If the international class 6 network cable is used, it is recommended not to exceed 100m;

9. Generally, the main switch in the machine room should not choose the switch with management, unless there is an engineer who is familiar with setting the management switch, or the system is relatively large;

10. The main switch in the machine room must be a large brand full Gigabit switch, and must not work at full load. For example, when 24 full Gigabit switches are actually used, generally do not use more than 20 ports, because the amount of network HD monitoring engineering data is relatively large and the data is transmitted continuously, and the processing requirements for the switch are relatively high, If there are delays and jams when a switch has many points, you can try to add a switch to solve them.
