The use of infrared lamps in monitoring projects requires special attention in its structural installation and circuit design. Because the hot gas is rising, if the infrared lamp is installed lower, it will cause the heat to rise and affect the work of the camera. Therefore, the LED lamp should be installed higher; In addition, in the circuit design of the infrared lamp, the linkage control mode of the opening of the infrared lamp and the day-to-night conversion function of the camera is used. When the camera is converted to the night mode, the infrared lamp is automatically opened to compensate the image brightness of the camera in the night mode and improve the image definition, which is also a very important test for the manufacturer's circuit design.


It is also the practice of some manufacturers to isolate the infrared lamp from the CCD. The company uses two glass sheets to isolate the CCD, lens and infrared lamp from each other. The iron ring is used in the middle, and the iron ring is protruded outside, which can dissipate part of the heat and reduce the ambient temperature of the camera.


In addition, some manufacturers add heat sink or fan to the infrared camera. As introduced by Wang Qiang of jiaxinjie, a layer of aluminum substrate can be installed under the infrared lamp plate to fully guide the heat to the shell by using the thermal conductivity of the aluminum substrate. In view of this, the previous infrared lamp board used glass fiber board with low thermal conductivity, while the aluminum substrate used now has good thermal conductivity. Because the infrared lamp is installed on the aluminum substrate, the heat can be transmitted to the aluminum substrate through the infrared lamp support foot for heat dissipation. Sony CCD is mostly used for infrared cameras. The high temperature resistance of CCD * is 65 ℃. If the heat * emitted by infrared lamp does not exceed 65 ℃, the camera will not be damaged. Therefore, the use of high-quality infrared lamps in the monitoring project is the fundamental to solve the heat dissipation problem.
