Why does the mainstream use Poe switch as network monitoring system now have the following advantages:
1. Save wire, wiring time and wiring labor, and provide engineering construction efficiency.


2. Without power supply, there will be no strong current, no risk of electric shock, reduce failure probability and reduce maintenance cost.


3. Reduce the construction difficulty, simple and convenient, easy to start, and the project wiring is more beautiful.


The third: in the case of long distance, network camera + optical fiber + transceiver
Can transmit farther!
As we said earlier, if the network cable transmission is within 100 meters, then if it exceeds 100 meters, we generally consider using optical fiber transmission. Optical fiber not only has a long transmission distance (can transmit 20 kilometers) but also has a stable effect.


We all know that when transmitting data through optical fiber, we convert the data signal into optical signal transmission, and then convert the optical signal into data signal. In this way, we use the cooperation of optical fiber transceiver to complete the work.
Optical fiber is cheap and has long transmission distance. It is widely used in monitoring and installation projects. However, the optical fiber needs to be welded, and the welding equipment is expensive, so generally, the welding needs to be carried out by a specially assigned person, which requires a certain cost and time. Optical fiber transceivers are divided into 100m and Gigabit, which can be selected according to the number of cameras.


The fourth: wireless transmission mode, camera + wireless bridge.


In the specific monitoring system implementation environment, if the wiring is difficult and meets natural barriers or insurmountable obstacles, we can use wireless transmission mode, so we can use wireless bridge.


For example, wireless transmission is applicable to communities with hardened roads, elevators, built factories, open areas far away, fields and so on.


Wireless bridge can convert network signals into radio waves for point-to-point transmission. Use in pairs. Due to point-to-point directional transmission, long-distance wireless transmission can be realized, from hundreds of meters to tens of kilometers.


Construction precautions for using wireless bridge: there shall be no shielding or obstacles between the transmitting and receiving ends. In this way, the signal transmission will be stable.
