The cabinet systematically solves the problems of high-density heat dissipation, a large number of cable attachment and management, high-capacity power distribution and full compatibility with rack equipment in different plants in computer applications, so that the data center can operate in a high stability environment.

With the vigorous development of the Internet industry and the upgrading of network products such as servers and switches, the cabinets used should accommodate more equipment than before. With the continuous increase of equipment, the cabinet wiring engineering needs to be arranged in an orderly manner.

If the cables in the cabinet wiring project are not well laid and not systematic enough, it will not only lead to cable damage or prolong the time of replaceable cables, but also seriously hinder the air flow, resulting in equipment overheating and shutdown.

2、 Master these tips and keep the cabinet wiring in order
(1). The air conditioning air baffle of the cabinet shall ensure that the gate is open to avoid the crash caused by overheating of the equipment.
(2).  Each network cable inside the cabinet shall be labeled to avoid unnecessary trouble in later maintenance.
(3).  the switch shall be fixed on the top of the cabinet with supporting ears to facilitate the positioning of the network cable.
(4).  paste the asset number of each server, and print the asset number + barcode together through the label printer. Each server prints two identical ones, one on the front and one on the side of the equipment.
(5).  Generally, the power line and network cable are routed from different directions, and each section is tied with a tie.
(6).  the back end of the network cable head connecting the server and the switch shall be marked with the same number of tie labels, which shall be consistent with the port number of the switch.
(7). During cabinet wiring, ensure that the power cord plug and the server power connector are fixed with labels and ties at both ends.
(8). The wiring between cabinets is generally from the top direction of the cabinet.
(9). If the cabinet is a switch with internal and external networks, try to use two different colors of network cables to distinguish them.
Cabinet wiring engineering is a technical activity. The wiring is orderly, which not only brings great convenience to the later maintenance, but also facilitates us to view the interior of the cabinet. More importantly, it can make the equipment give full play to the highest performance.
